DESCRIPTION
Bayerischer Kavallerie Extradegen KD 89 mit dem seltenen beidseitig klappbaren Gefäß mit der Bayerischen Löwen Abbildung und beidseitig geätztem Klingen Spruchband "In Treue Fest" Scheide mit starren Tragebügel, diese sehr gut Nachlackiert. Sehr schöne blitzblanke Klinge. Klingenlänge 80,5cm, Gesamtlänge 97,5cm. Der Säbel dürfte zu einem der Ulanen oder Chevauleger Regimenter gehört haben die um 1910 in Bayreuth stationiert waren.

Beschreibung
Bavarian cavalry extra sword KD 89 with the rare double-folding hilt featuring the Bavarian lion and a double-sided etched inscription on the blade bearing the motto "In Treue Fest" (Steadfast in Loyalty). Scabbard with rigid carrying loop, very well repainted. The blade is in excellent, bright condition. Blade length 80.5 cm, overall length 97.5 cm. The saber likely belonged to one of the Uhlan or Chevauleger regiments stationed in Bayreuth around 1910.
